Little Easter Bunnies

Adam has to work this weekend, so we celebrated Easter a little prematurely with his family.  Saturday morning Mason and I dyed our eggs, this was something we tried for the first time.  I was so impressed with his patience and willingness to listen to me explain what to do.  I showed him how to use the little wire holder, how to hold the egg so it wouldn't fall in the colors and how to fish them back out when they were done.  Of course he was excited during all this, but he took care of our eggs and we had no casualties.
For her part, Mya slept during the egg-dying excitement.  Her favorite part about Easter thus far has been playing with the plastic eggs.  As with everything else these days, she tries to fit them in her little mouth.  They roll away from her?  No problem, she rolls and squirms till she can reach them again.  One month from our last post, she still isn't crawling, but she's becoming more mobile.  She'll figure out how to get to where she wants to go, if she really wants to get there.  She can sit up on her own now too, which gives her quite a bit more independence.  Actually, it gives Adam and I some independence since we don't have to pick her back up every time she falls over.

What we actually do for Easter is still up in the air, but either way the Easter Bunny still has their baskets to hide.
